Dog and Gun Coffee Reviews

I tried a bag of Dog and Gun Coffee over the past week or so, mostly with my morning cup before work. When I first opened the bag, it smelled really nice, so I was hopeful. After a few brews, though, I realized the flavor was a little darker and more bitter than what I usually go for. It wasn’t bad by any means, and I still finished my cups without a problem, but it’s probably not one I’d rush to buy again. I can see other people liking it more if they prefer a bolder roast, it just wasn’t totally my taste.

I wanted to like this, but the flavor came across really burnt to me. It was just way too strong for my taste, so I don’t think I’d buy it again...

The box showed up with a dent in it, which was kind of annoying. I mean, it wasn’t the worst thing ever, and the item seemed fine, but still, you notice stuff like that right away. Packaging could’ve been a little better.

My order showed up and it wasn’t even the coffee I picked. The receipt had the right one on it, so some genius clearly mixed things up somewhere.

I emailed them about it, but the replies were slow and basically useless. No real fix, just a bunch of nonsense, which is annoying when you pay for something and expect these clowns to get a simple order right.

The coffee itself was totally fine, so I’m not saying the whole experience was bad or anything. But the shipping definitely wasn’t great for me. It took longer than I expected, and the tracking didn’t update for a few days, which was frustrating. It did eventually show up in good condition, so that’s good, but I wouldn’t call the delivery process super reliable based on my order.

I’ve ordered from Dog and Gun Coffee a few times now, the roasts have been consistent. I was going to say they’re never off, well, one bag was maybe a little darker than I expected, but it still tasted good. The beans haven’t had that burnt or random flavor I’ve run into with some other places. Shipping was fine too, no issues there. Overall, solid 4 stars from me

I emailed dogandguncoffee.com twice about an issue with my order and never heard a thing back. I waited over a week, checked my spam folder, everything, but still no reply.

What made it more annoying was that I kept getting these pushy reminder emails to buy more, while they couldn’t even answer my actual question. Stuff happens, I get it, but ignoring customers and then aggressively chasing them for another order is frustrating. I won’t be ordering again.

I bought this as a present, but it just didn’t really feel gift-worthy. I mean, I thought it would look a bit nicer, but the packaging was plain and the whole thing came across kind of cheap for the price. I wouldn’t choose it for someone else again

It’s decent coffee overall, but it was a bit stronger than I usually like. If you enjoy bold cup, you might like it more than I did

I was really hoping these would be good, but the beans tasted stale and bitter. Just not a great experience overall, and I don’t think I’d buy them again.

The coffee was good overall, but I do wish there were a few more blends to choose from. After ordering a couple times, it started to feel a bit samey, kind of hard to describe, but nothing really stood out as different.

I’m not comfortable leaving a review for something I haven’t actually used. I’d rather protect myself and keep things honest than put my name on a fake opinion. If I try it for real, then I can share what I genuinely think.

The coffee was okay overall, nothing really special. I probably would’ve liked the place more if I hadn’t been standing around waiting so long for it. By the time I got my drink, I was more frustrated than excited to try it...

I was trying to order a couple bags, but most of the ones I actually wanted were already sold out. I checked back later and there still wasn’t much to pick from. On top of that, I got charged and haven’t really seen any clear update, which is a bit worrying. The coffee might be great, but it’s frustrating when it’s this hard to buy what you want.

My order didn’t show up when I expected it to, and it was frustrating at first. I had to send a couple of emails before I got a proper response, so for a while I was just left wondering what was happening.

To their credit, they did eventually sort it out and sent the missing coffee, which was fine once it arrived. I can’t say it was the easiest experience, but it did get resolved in the end. I might order again at some point, just not in any big hurry.

I was just trying to order some coffee, but using the website on my phone wasn’t not frustrating. It felt kind of clunky, pages took a while to load, and a few times I had to tap the same thing more than once before it actually worked.

The menu could definitely be clearer too. I couldn’t not get a little lost while trying to find what I wanted, which made the whole thing take longer than it should have. Checkout wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t exactly smooth either.

The coffee itself might be really good, so I’m not saying I wouldn’t try it again. But the website made the ordering process more annoying than it needed to be.

I ordered from Dog and Gun Coffee because I was mainly looking for decaf, and overall it was okay. The coffee tasted fine, nothing wrong with it, and I definitely wouldn’t say it was bad.

For me, it’s not even about the taste as much as the lack of choice. The regular coffees seemed to have more going on, while the decaf options felt a bit limited, and I would’ve liked more detail about the roast too.
Delivery was alright and the website was easy enough to use. I’d maybe order again if they added a few more decaf options, but as it stands, it’s a 3-star experience for me...

I went through checkout without much trouble, and it didn’t take very long. Everything moved along smoothly for me. The only thing I noticed was that the shipping cost didn’t show up until a bit later in the process, which was slightly annoying, but it wasn’t a big deal overall

Not gonna lie, I was interested in trying them, but I couldn’t find clear info about their ethical sourcing anywhere. Maybe I just missed it, but that kind of transparency really matters to me. I’m holding off on buying until they show more proof...
